Office Policies:
Appointments begin and end at the scheduled time. If you are late for an appointment, I cannot extend the session. You will be charged for the full appointment time. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please give 24 hours notice in order to avoid being charged. Missed appointments will be charged at ½ the full price of the session. If I miss an appointment, you will receive a discount of half off your next appointment. Exceptions will be made for emergencies and illness. If you feel you are coming down with an illness, please call and cancel your appointment. You will not be charged for the appointment if you call before the time of your scheduled appointment.

Payment is expected at the time of the appointment. I am not currently able to accept insurance.

It is not within a Licensed Massage Therapist’s scope of practice to diagnose illnesses or conditions. If you present with something I suspect needs a physician’s diagnosis or additional care, I will refer you to your primary care practitioner or another health care practitioner I know and trust. You have the right to end the healing session at any time, for whatever reason you see fit.
I also reserve the right to end the session at any time. My intention for the session is to promote healing and well-being. If for some reason you are uncomfortable (too cold, too hot, not the right amount of pressure, etc.), please let me know during the session, and I will make adjustments.

Continuing Protocols For COVID 19:

I will only see people who are free of cold or flu-like symptoms, including fever over 100 degrees F, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle aches, new loss of taste or smell or new rashes or lesions, AND who have not been exposed to anyone who has been diagnosed with a current case of COVID19 or has symptoms of same. If you have any of these symptoms or exposures, please contact me to reschedule your appointment. There will be no charge for late cancellations due to illness.

- I am asking that you wait in your car or outside in the parking lot until 5 minutes before your appointment, when I will be ready for you. This way, we will avoid too many people in the small waiting rooms in our building.

- I will take your temperature with a touch-less thermometer when you arrive. I will ask you some questions about how you are feeling and possible contacts with any sick people.

- I ask that you wear a mask into the building and for the duration of your appointment, and I will also be wearing a mask.

- Hand sanitizer will be available in my office as well as in the common areas, and I ask that you use it and/or wash your hands with hot water and soap before your session. I will wash my hands well before your session, as always, and dry with a paper towel. I will not touch anything else before the session. I may also use hand sanitizer before I begin the session.

- I will be wiping down common surfaces in the office with a CDC -approved disinfectant between clients. As always, I will use clean sheets for each client. I will avoid using a blanket unless the room temperature requires it, in which case, the blanket will also be clean.

- For simplicity, please have your payment by cash or check ready when you arrive.
